That is such a great idea! If anyone is looking for a partner to present with, I would happily collaborate with you.

    Hi Dr. Rotzenberg!

I would be happy to collaborate! I have a meeting tomorrow (4/21) with Judy Smetzer from ISMP about how our hospital implemented TMSBP #18 Barcode verification to care areas beyond inpatient care units and #16 reduction of overrides. I can ask Judy if she has recommendations/contacts. On a recent phone call she mentioned stories of success or implementation is one of the most requested articles for the ISMP newsletter.

I'm an Ohio Licensed pharmacist studying for my Wisconsin MPJE will be moving to Green Bay area in July 2023 for my wife's career.
    My email is dustin.carneal@gmail.com.

    Hi Kate and Justin,

I am the new Medication Safety Officer at UW and I just joined PSWI to get more involved.  I would also like to participate.  I am going to ASHP Summer Medication Safety and ISMP usually does a overview of this as well.

    Thank you ~Jennifer

I'm so happy that the three of you are interested in this topic....I think it will bring a lot of great discussion and ideas to the members of PSW, so they in turn, can look at their health-system and hospital based care delivery models, and consider gaps or areas of possible improvement or enhancement. Dustin and Jennifer - PSW uses this form to outline requests for presentation. (Which are then vetted and reviewed by our Educational Planning Advisory Committee). Kate, is pretty familiar with this process and will be a GREAT asset, but I'm also here to help if you need support! EPAC only needs one submitted RFP.

If you are interested you can find the link to submit a request for presentation HERE!
