Medication Safety

As discussed during the 2/17/22 Med Safety meeting, The Joint Commission pushed out an advisory last year (June 2021) that addressed how hospitals can safely allow patients to use their own insulin pumps while hospitalized.  This is a great prompt to review (potentially through a gap analysis) how your institution can support the continued use of patient's own insulin pump (when appropriate) through policy & education.
